- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic food handling and preparation duties.
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and organized.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure proper food handling practices are maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and culinary techniques, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
