Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Conduct floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment effectively to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while performing cleaning duties.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and floor care techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
