Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills, a passion for food, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety.
- Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely order preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service standards.
- Utilize OpenTable for reservations and manage seating arrangements effectively during peak hours.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance multiple tables efficiently while providing excellent guest services.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Basic math skills are necessary for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work well under pressure are key attributes for success in this role.
