Crew foremen are led, managed, and held accountable.
Project Manager and Project Administrator are current on construction status and needs.
Communicates where, when, and what needs to be accomplished to the foreman based on daily workload.
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO DO THIS JOB EXTRAORDINARILY WELL?
Skills required :
5-7 years experience in coordinating and leading plow and drill crews in construction.
The ability to lead crews with safety as the top priority, including leading the morning meeting with a clear path forward.
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and professional skills.
A “I will attack this problem” mindset.
Understanding of underground utility power and fiber systems and construction processes.
Must be able to create and maintain day-to-day processes involving mentorship to foreman and crews as well as production reporting, ensuring schedules and budget, and maintaining equipment.
Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure proper staffing.
Must be a self-starter, bring a positive attitude to the team, have a desire to succeed and make a difference in your team and community
