Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Electrical Programmer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems for Freak drives and low voltage calibration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems using electrical programming techniques.
- Program, configure, and calibrate frequency drives, including freak drives, to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for electrical programming processes and system modifications.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on low voltage electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze and diagnose system malfunctions to determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams on automation equipment.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to automation and electrical programming.
- Ensure all automation systems are compliant with relevant safety regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation programming with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting frequency drives (Freak drives) and low voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, including ladder logic and structured text.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures and tools for low voltage systems.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
