Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor cheese processing equipment to ensure efficient production.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in all aspects of cheese production.
- Conduct quality checks and tests on cheese products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Record and maintain accurate production data and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any product or process issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures and protocols for cheese processing.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years experience in food processing, dairy industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cheese-making processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety and quality standards, such as HACCP and GMP.
- Ability to operate and maintain cheese production machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor production parameters.
- Basic understanding of microbiological and chemical principles related to cheese production.
- Proficiency in using computer software for data entry and production tracking.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
