We are looking to add a ProductReliability Engineer to our Field Services team in Vancouver, Canada. Reporting to the Team Lead - Reliability this role is responsible for improving the overall reliability and robustness of MineSense products and solutions. An ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys developing innovative solutions.
\n- Contributes to the development of an internal reliability measurement tool/system with defined KPI’s and metrics.
- Gathers, analyzes and interprets product reliability data from manufacturing stages and products in the field, through a variety of appropriate methods.
- Learns to identify and report on potential failure and prediction analysis trends for shovel mounted systems.
- Reports high granularity data on individual product components in collaboration with the Data, Operations, Field Services, and Engineering Teams.
- Assists with identifying continuous improvement opportunities for collecting and reporting of reliability data on products and components.
- Collaborates cross functionally with Data, Operations, Field Services, and Engineering Teams in delivering proposed product improvementsto ensure best in class product usability, performance and functionality.
- Assists with coordinating the submission of change requests from field services to the rest of the organization.
- Additional duties as occasionally required by your manager.
- Generally, a 4-year degree/Bachelor's degree specialized in a relevant discipline. Ex.Reliability Engineering or related qualification & certification
- Generally, 0-2 years in a product reliability focused role, with manufacturing and mining/technology experience being preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English, knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently and in teams.
- Experience working in Microsoft 365.
- Experience in statistics and data analysis is an asset.
- Experience in Pyton/SQL is an asset.
- Health & Safety conscious individual.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on their experience, knowledge and skills they bring to MineSense, market data based on their location as well as internal equity. Keeping this mind, the salary offered can be outside of the range posted.
