Payroll coordinator

Job Purpose :

The purpose of the Payroll Coordinator is to assist with preparation and process of a compliant payroll process and provide support for all companies while working closely with the Payroll Manager, HR team, and Accounting department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Accurately process employee payroll changes and other payroll related documents for the bi-weekly payroll process
• Process deductions and comply with all laws associated with court orders, garnishments, and withholding orders
• Process After Hours payment requests
• Submit payroll statistical reports as required by the U S government
• Assist with the Paid Time Off plan compliance and maintenance
• Maintain the retention of all payroll documents in compliance with the company retention policy
• Process vendor incentives for payments to employees
• Accurately process payroll for all US legal entities
• Review timecards to ensure that all time entries are complete and accurately reflect the hours worked
• Produce Monthly and Quarterly Reports to distribute to management
• Code and process invoices
• Maintain regular, punctual and reliable physical attendance
• Work cooperatively with others
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications :

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in business
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in payroll is preferred
• Experience with ADP (or equivalent) software is preferred
• Knowledge of fundamental payroll regulations laws
