Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Account Executive is to ascertain who the key decision makers are within the Commercial market. Develop a long-term relationship with these decision makers and cultivate the position into a liaison between the end user, and design engineer, thus making Mingledorff’s Inc. the preferred provider.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategic marketing plan to penetrate the commercial market
- Meet or exceed annual sales goal as assigned by management
- Generate increased business through understanding specific needs, identifying projects and internalizing the criteria used to award projects
- Coordinate the follow-up on the administration of the project by working closely with the assigned contractor and Inside Sales Support Group
- Act as company liaison for customer with various company departments to include by not limited to: Warranty, Credit, Technical Services, Inventory, Engineering, Vertical Marketing Groups, Controls and any associated vendors
- Establish and maintain communication between Mingledorff’s and the commercial contractor market
- Assist with analyzing and forecasting the present conditions in the commercial contractors
- Increase revenue from the commercial sector
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning
- Promote the idea of “One Brand Selling” where applicable
- Increase his/her own technical knowledge and knowledge of competitive offerings
- Attend at least 16 hours of business or product training annually
- Complete accurate and timely weekly call reports
- Maintain knowledge of competitors products and services
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability
- Position may be remote, but requires regular physical attendance at meetings held at corporate office

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years HVAC experience
- 3-5 years Inside or Outside Sales experience
- Customer service experience
- Proven time management and organization skills
- Ability to make quick decisions based on limited information
- Excellent communication skills and professional approach to sales
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
Travel Requirement:
- 60% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
