Supply Chain Manager

Sunvair Aerospace Group, Inc is a leading aviation and aerospace MRO specializing in landing gear and hydraulic components, avionics, accessories, HVOF, and cargo loading systems with with facilities in Valencia, CA and Owasso, OK. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to manage and optimize supply chain operations for our Owasso, OK facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and inventory control within the aerospace sector. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. Key job requirements and indicators of success in this role include:

Essential Functions

· Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support the MRO activities at the site

· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders

· Oversee procurement processes, including supplier selection, contracts and pricing negotiation.

· Manage supply side logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products.

· Monitor inventory levels.

· Implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory, minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

· Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to select the best suppliers and to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with production schedules and quality standards.

· Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and quality issues.

· Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

· Analyze supply chain performance metrics to drive corrective actions to achieve operational excellence and cost reduction.

· Integrate newly acquired businesses into supply chain organization

· Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to drive innovation in supply chain practices.

· Perform supplier audits to ensure all quality and regulatory requirements are satisfied.

Education, Experience and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, Master’s degree is preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the aviation or aerospace industry, MRO preferred.

· Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement practices, logistics, and inventory management.

· Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing

· Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains and delivering results.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

· Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

· Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

· Energetic and willing to “roll up the sleeves to get it done” mentality

· Grasp of FAA / airline regulatory compliance

· Creative Out of the Box thinker and entrepreneurial/ownership drive and mindset
