Description
We are looking for an IT Systems Support Technician to help maintain and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be expected to demonstrate superb technical competency, deliver mission critical infrastructure, and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Qualified IT Systems Support Technicians will have a background in computer networking, information technology, or a related field.
Essential Functions
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
- Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing best practices and staying up to date with the latest security trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operation of IT systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end users.
Requirements
Technical Requirements
1. Clear understanding of computer networks (Routers, modems, network switches, Wi-Fi, etc.)
2. Proficiency with MS Office applications.
3. Computer hardware replacement and troubleshooting.
4. Active Directory management
5. Ability to install peripherals (Printers, scanners, etc.)
6. Ability to prep IT equipment for installations
7. Cybersecurity awareness
Ideal Technical Knowledge
1. Experience with network troubleshooting and network equipment.
2. Experience in MS Office 365
3. Experience with Remote Support Tools (ConnectWise Control)
Interpersonal Requirements

Required Education and Experience
· Associate’s degree in Computer Networking or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ desktop administration
- 1-3 years’ experience in network administration
- 2-5 years’ operating systems experience (Windows)
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking or equivalent
- Experience with maintaining and configuring VMware, ESXI
- Office 365 Administration
- Experience with cybersecurity and compliance standards
- DFARS
- CMMC
- NIST
- At least one of the following industry certifications is preferred:
- CompTIA A
- CompTIA Network
- CompTIA Server
- Familiarity with Fortinet, HPE/Aruba
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
