Description : Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist works with the Controller to ensure accuracy of operations, process and monitor incoming payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process accounts and incoming revenue in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensures contractual payments are processed accurately.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data.
- Maintaining and scanning of Accounts Receivable reports into company files.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Assists with reconciling the account receivable’s ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Investigate and resolve clients’ payment issue, irregularities, or inquiries with the assistance of billers.
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjustment entries.
- Assists Controller with accounts payable data entry.
- Protects employees and patients by keeping information confidential.
- Assist controller with cross referencing processed checks to vendor invoices.
- Process account receivable refunds.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Actively engage in quality improvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
