What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler II - HOUSTON position at Minigrip, LLC?
This Minigrip position is in our Houston, TX market (Citypark Loop - EAST side of Houston)

Schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control
- Good organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift
- Good communication skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain active forklift license and clean safety record
- Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels (raw materials and WIP) for packaging (cartoning) lines to remain efficient.
- Assist in monitoring and receiving corruate, chipboard, materials, and supplie accurately and on time according to the production schedule and estabalished procedures including maintaining a Kan Ban style system.
- Assist in picking finished goods from designated areas per customer orders, prepare and verify necessary paperwork, and load trailers accurately and on time
- Assist in other departments' material handling needs as available and applicable
- Responsible for complying with all OSHA, MSDS, and C-TPAT regulations as well as Minigrip safety program
- Ensure that the workplace is safe, professional, clean, and conforms to good manufacturing practices and a"5s" style organizational program
- Perform other duties as requested by management
