Available Location: Alpharetta, GA
Hybrid Working: In this role, you will split your time between working at the designated company office in Alpharetta, GA for a minimum of 3 days per week and will work remotely from your home address up to 2 days per week. Any changes to these work locations must follow the appropriate process as outlined in our handbook.
What You'll Do:
As the Sr. Financial Analyst, you will provide financial planning and ad-hoc analytics to help drive the financial and operational performance of Ministry Brands. This includes compiling data and developing models that help drive corporate decision-making. The individual will be an insightful, decisive, critical thinker, and commercially focused. Further, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be able to work well on teams, however, will develop the knowledge and maturity to work with our business units and leadership independently. This position will require a large data set analysis and adept skills in MS Excel.

- Translate accounting data, non-financial metrics, and analysis into best-in-class presentations that tell a compelling, fact-based story.
- Present unique ideas and challenge existing thought processes within a collaborative team environment Develop and oversee gold standard level deliverables.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times, as this position requires a high level of responsibility regarding confidential information.
- Gather data and financial information affecting all areas of the company’s operations; manage and maintain company historical data.
- Conduct quantitative analyses and modeling of business scenarios.
- Develop and maintain global financial models to support long-term corporate strategy.
- Prepare regular revenue and expense forecasts; develop variance analyses for actual vs forecast and report explanations.
- Provide research and analytical support in the preparation of the budget, strategic plans, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain new forecasting tools; provide input regarding project reviews, system enhancements, and continuous process improvement.
- Assist in preparation of management dashboard, board materials, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, financial statements, and other key company communications.
- Work closely with Accounting and Operations teams to deliver accurate analyses to support decision making
- Passionate about data integrity and enthusiastic about helping purpose driven organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Economics or equivalent education and experience; MBA or CPA, preferred
- 2 years of experience in an investment bank, PE firm, PE-owned portfolio company or top-tier consulting firm.
- 3 years relevant work experience
- Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP & Financial consolidation tools
- Teaming with colleagues, both junior and senior, on shared deliverables and/or goals and working independently
- Contributing as a team player with a positive attitude and intellectual curiosity to learn new things
- Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, communicate expectations, adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Results-driven and detail-oriented with a high degree of attention to detail
- Analytical and Technical:
- Managing financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting processes by supporting the organization to measure the execution in order to achieve corporate targets.
- Developing lender and shareholder financial reporting in a zero-defect environment.
- Establishing and enhancing sophisticated forecasting and business/earnings analysis systems and procedures.
- Providing financial solutions utilizing various modeling and analysis tools and valuation modeling/methodologies.
- Constructing revenue and EBITDA bridges, performing transaction analysis, performing sum-of-the-parts asset valuation analysis, creating pro forma models, performing sensitivity analysis, performing IRR calculations under multiple scenarios
- Solving complex problems with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Establishing metrics for monitoring and managing a diverse portfolio of SaaS, services and payments businesses
- Implement business intelligence systems to improve analysis
- Communication:
- Developing and/or managing the creation and quality of “best-in-class" presentations
- Presenting in front of audiences including internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with all levels of the internal organization and with external partners
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work in a general office environment
- Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone
- Ability to work flexible and long hours, as needed, including outside regular business hours and days
