Product Engineer - Power Solutions

Join Minit Charger, a leading innovator in connected off road EV charging solutions for aviation, supply chain, construction and LSV. Our solutions have been deployed across the globe at airports, manufacturing facilities and expanding to construction and golf courses. Our next milestone is BESS and mobile charging solutions. 

To manage our product portfolio, we are seeking a well-versed product manager who can manage every aspect of product development, launch and manage strategic customer and vendor partnerships.  Entrepreneurial mindset, out-of-box thinking and managing multi location teams is a must for this position.

About the Role

• As a Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our power management solutions – from concept to launch.
• You'll be responsible for product lifecycle, from identifying customer needs and market trends to defining the product roadmap, features and functions, lab and field validations, safety certifications and commercial launch.
• You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure we deliver products that exceed user expectations.

Position Requirements

• Develop, manage, and execute product launch strategies.
• Define product roadmap and participate in every aspect of the product life cycle to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Research new market segments by leveraging existing technologies.
• Manage product validation in the lab and in the field for successful market launches.
• Ensure product performance is reliable and consistent.
• Develop strategic partnership with key customers and OEMs.
• Work with our offsite development and manufacturing partners across the globe in various time zones.
• Define product vision and roadmap based on user needs and business objectives.
• Translate user insights into actionable product features and specifications.
• Manage product releases and iterate based on user feedback and data analysis.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure product success.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies.

You're a great fit if you

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer engineering, or mechatronics.
• Have 5 years of experience in product management of EV charging, power management or energy storage.
• 3 years of experience in embedded systems, cloud technologies and SaaS platforms.
• 3 years of experience in product development, business analysis, and product launch planning and execution.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional team across the globe.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (about 20%).
• Possess a deep understanding of user research, product design, and development methodologies.
• Are a data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical skills.
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and can effectively work across cross-functional teams.
• Are passionate about electric vehicles and the sustainable future of transportation.
• Are a self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
