What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - Plastic Blow Molding (2nd shift) position at Minitube USA?
Shift hours: Mon-Fri, 1:00pm-9:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing environment
- Set up machines for production runs according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Material handling: Ability to handle and move materials safely and efficiently
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for measurements and quantities
- Quality inspection: Ability to visually inspect products for defects or irregularities
- Forklift operation: Experience operating a forklift to transport materials or products
- Machining knowledge: Familiarity with machining processes and techniques
