While we are a private club that delivers exceptional service for our members, we have availability to deliver that same service to non-members.
Weddings and Events at the Minneapolis Club offer a five-star blend of fine cuisine, impeccable service, historical space & luxurious downtown lodging. We accommodate 200 guests seated in our stately Main Dining Room and our beautiful Main Lounge offers space for cocktail and dance receptions up to 350 guests and intimate meetings seating as few as 4 guests in one of our 16 private spaces.
The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for excellent relationships with members and guests as the Front Desk is the center to all Club happenings. Promotion and booking of Guest Rooms and Dining along with assisting the Front Desk Manager are key components to this position. The Front Desk Attendant must have an overview of the Club operation and go above and beyond member’s requests to exceed their expectations.
This is a Full Time position. 8 hour shift (3-11pm), 5 days a week. Preferably Monday - Friday, but willing to work with the right candidate.

Essential Job Functions
Communications:
- Greet and direct all incoming members and guests at the front door
- Resolve member or guest problems and concerns as they arise
- Answer telephones, direct incoming calls and emails, take and convey messages
- Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic in the Club by way of the intercom or radio
- Give wake-up calls to overnight guests as requested
- Guest card requests and issuing of cards
- Member and guest reservations for dining, events and fitness or pool
- Desk point of sale and cash transactions
- Guest room reservations and check-ins/check-outs
- Sorting incoming check payments
- Verify cash drawer at the start of each shift and close out cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Key logbook
- Lost & found item log
- Daily entry into the Log Report
- Preparation of daily and monthly reports
- Stamp, sort, and distribute mail, magazines, and newspapers
- Email/fax transmissions and receipts for members and guests
- Other ad hoc projects such as stuffing envelopes for mailing, filing, organizing, etc…
- Month end inventory counting
- Luggage locker procedures
- Ensure guest rooms are ready for incoming guests
- Handling of emergency situations and knowledge of all evacuation and alarm procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager as necessary based on business needs.
