This position earns a competitive salary based on experience. If you are relatively new to accounting and may need more direction, you would earn about $50,000. If you have significant accounts payable experience in manufacturing or construction, you could earn up to $60,000. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STAFF ACCOUNTANT
As an Accountant, you are responsible for all aspects of accounts payable including vendor invoices, general ledger coding, reconciling vendor statements and ensuring accurate timely payments. You will manage daily credit card transactions, bank reconciliations and assist in payments collections. You collaborate with coworkers and glass manufacturing or construction customers & vendors.
Using our construction accounting software you ensure accurate data entry and invoice processing. You ensure customer and vendor accounts are processed correctly!
QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent. College coursework in accounting preferred.
- 2 or more years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Experience with Viewpoint or Acumatica Construction software is a huge plus.
- Ability to work full-time, predominantly on-site
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving, time management, attention to detail, organization, and accuracy are key attributes.
