Hourly rate: $20.75
Onsite; Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
The Job
The Event Crew perform a variety of duties related to the preparation for and implementation of museum events.
In this role, you will…
· Move and set up equipment such as tables, chairs, signs, recycling bins and pianos for events.
· Maneuver loaded carts and heavy equipment near artwork and through the building.
· Provide coat check during special events.
· Greet and assist the public while working events.
· Assist with special activities during events.

· You are able to work at a quick pace with caution.
· You are a good listener and able to follow directions, while demonstrating good judgement in a dynamic environment.
· You are punctual and understand the importance of showing up on time.
· You are comfortable working with the public and have a positive attitude.
· You manage unexpected, last minute changes with grace and agility.
Specific Requirements
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
· Ability to exercise judgment and caution when moving objects through the galleries.
· Good verbal communication skills.
· Able to work with a team.
· Able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends to support the museum’s event business.
