Responsibilities:
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam
- Maintain department cleanliness and organization, adhere to safe work and equipment practices, and follow all food safety, health and sanitation standards
Requirements to be successful in this role:
- Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
- Marriott brand experience is beneficial
- Must be able to work a part time morning schedule
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible work schedule required for weekends, and holidays
- Have excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
