Job Summary
Join our dynamic team at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), where your passion for public health can make a tangible impact on the well-being of all Minnesotans . The Environmental Health (EH) Division is seeking a Business Technology Coordinator for the Operations Center. This position will manage EH Division resources as they relate to business information technology applications, systems, and services to ensure that Minnesotans are protected from environmental hazards and applications comply with applicable Minnesota Enterprise standards. This position will act as the primary liaison between the EH Division and Minnesota IT (MNIT) department for MDH.
Primary Responsibilities include :
This is a hybrid telework position that require in person meetings with external shareholders as well as in-office work in the downtown St. Paul location. Telework will be based on the business needs of the unit and is at supervisory discretion.
This is a temporary position that may last up to 3 years.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree in Business Management, Environmental Health, Project Management, Information Technology, or closely related field may be substituted for six (6) months of experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Environmental Health, Project Management, Information Technology, or closely related field may be substituted for (12) months of experience.
A Master's degree in Business Management, Environmental Health, Project Management, Information Technology, or closely related field may be substituted for (18) months of experience.
A PhD in Business Management, Environmental Health, Project Management, Information Technology, or closely related field may be substituted for (24) months of experience.
