The Community Behavioral Health Hospital(CBHH) in Alexandria, MNis seeking a compassionate, person centeredClinicalSocial Workerto joinour team.Operated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services,CBHH isa small (16-bed)inpatient psychiatric facility for adults experiencing acute mental health episodes.The lengthof stay is usually less than 60 days, during which treatment focuses on rapid assessment and stabilization for adults experiencing an acute mental health episode.

Responsibilitiesinclude :

  • Provideintegrated mental health care and social work services to patients
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based crisis intervention psychotherapy as an independent practitioner
  • Facilitate patient and family education as well as weekly group therapy
  • Maintain appropriate and effective relations with community providers
  • Prepare aftercare plans that outlines the clients course through treatment and needs / resources in the community
  • Facilitate active treatment team meetings
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field; and
  • Licensure / Certification in the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional as an LICSW
