Job Summary
This vacancy is being posted at two job class levels : Human Resources Technician 1 or Human Resources Technician 2. Final job class will be determined based on successful applicant's qualifications.
This position provides technical personnel support to the Human Resource Management Division staff and Department of Revenue managers, supervisors, and employees. This includes processing personnel transactions in the State's personnel / payroll systems (SEMA4), providing support and assistance to staff and customers on personnel issues, and serving as a Designated Department Insurance Representative (DDIR).
This posting may be used to fill multiple vacancies.
This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Telework eligibility is based on the business needs of the unit and is at supervisory discretion. Commuting to the St. Paul office location for occasional in-person meetings is expected.

Experience entering employee data in HR systems (ex : PeopleSoft or equivalent).

Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
Additional Requirements
