Job Summary
This position will develop and convene programmatic activities related to building and sustaining the Minnesota Health Equity Networks in the Southwest Region of Minnesota. The Networks support a regional approach and a statewide commitment to advancing health and racial equity across Minnesota's public health system through relationship building, convening, capacity building, and providing technical assistance. The Network Coordinators bring together partners from across sectors including local public health, tribal public health, community partners and others. This position aligns with and informs other public health system improvement and strengthening efforts. This position will mobilize network resources to amplify existing best practices and to foster new efforts. This position will foster systems changes through programmatic approaches that reinforce advancing health equity through organizational change and other policy change, relationship building, understanding power dynamics and implicit mental models.
Responsibilities Include :
This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in one of the following counties in Minnesota : Rock, Nobles, Jackson, Martin, Faribault, Pipestone, Murray, Cottonwood, Watonwan, Blue Earth, Lincoln, Lyon, Redwood, Brown, Nicollet, Yellow Medicine, Renville, Sibley, McLeod, Lac qui Parle, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Big Stone, Swift, Traverse, Stevens, Pope, Grant, or Douglas. Position location will be determined by the top candidate and will be based out of the closest district office. This position doesn't require a driver's license but does demand travel. Reimbursement for authorized business travel expenses is provided according to bargaining unit guidelines.

Degree Equivalencies
A related associate degree may be substituted for six (6) months of experience. A related bachelor's degree may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
