Job Summary
This position leads the Metro District Planning team in multimodal and regional transportation systems analysis and planning, emerging policy analysis and research, performance management, corridor and community planning, access management, and development and plat review functions. This position works closely with the Metropolitan Council and oversees the Council's and MnDOT's long range multimodal transportation plans and amendments. The position is accountable for the development and implementation of the Metro District 20-year long-range plan for highway investments, partnering with statewide Planning staff and Metro Program Delivery managers. The position leads / participates in national, state and local / Department and District management teams, task forces and other committees.
This position is located at Metro District's Waters Edge building in Roseville, MN. The incumbent will have the flexibility to work in the office or a hybrid schedule. The incumbent will be required to report onsite at least twice / week but may be required to work onsite more depending on business needs. If working a hybrid schedule, the incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor.
