The Talent Resources team is responsible for advancing the talent management initiatives for the museum. The intern will primarily focus on compiling policies into online learning materials via video format. The materials will range from onboarding topics to specific employee benefits and will be available on demand via our online learning management system.
PAY: $16.00 per hour plus free parking or bus pass
SCHEDULE: Requires 120 hours during the internship session (10-12 hours per week). Some on-site hours required.
POSITION SUMMARY
The exact duties and projects will be determined by mutual agreement of the intern and museum staff.
- Create online courses for new hire orientation including benefits, timecards and retirement (403b)
- Overview of support roles at the museum: Security, IT & Custodial
- Training for managers to understand the I9 process and their responsibilities
- In-depth analysis of flexible spending accounts, injury and safety at the museum, and misgendering resources
- Communicating and understanding our workplace values and norms
All duties will be carried out with the direction and supervision of Talent Resources.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (specify on resume)

- Education or experience in human resources, communications, or related field
- Experience creating online learning content
- Experience working with PowerPoint, Canva or other online graphic design platform
- Proficient creating and editing video or voice over content
