What are the responsibilities and job description for the City Administrator / Clerk position at Minnesota City Jobs?
The City of Eagle Bend is seeking a candidate for the position of City Administrator/Clerk. The applicant will need strong accounting skills. Duties will include recording of all city finances, record keeping of all city policies, minutes, ordinances & resolutions. Direct the administration by council action, state and federal and state departments as required and keep up with all changes. Attend all council meetings, and other meetings as directed by the City Council. Supervise the activities of all department heads and their staff. Consult and work with the City Attorney, City Auditor, City Engineer, appointed officials and other public or private agencies as required. Supervise all purchases and / or acquisitions made by all city personnel. Count Liquor Store tills each morning. Liquor store daily reports and physically take year-end inventory. All other duties required by the City Council.
