The Engineering Intern performs entry level technical engineering work in office and field settings. This position assists the Engineering Division with tasks related to preliminary design, construction staking and inspection of City streets and utilities, traffic data collection and assistance with miscellaneous City construction projects.
Candidates need to be a student in a Civil Engineering, Surveying, Mapping Sciences, or related program; have a working knowledge of maps, construction plans and procedures, materials and use of survey equipment.
