The City of Saint Paul Department of Safety and Inspections is hiring an individual to perform full performance level work in conducting a full range of complaint investigations, inspections, and enforcement actions associated with commercial, single family, and multi-unit residential properties related to property maintenance and public safety.

Determine violations and seeks compliance with City codes and State laws relative to the enforcement of fire, building, and housing codes.
Assist in providing fire prevention and life safety information to the public.
Perform fire safety watch duty at large assemblies.
Perform Certificate of Occupancy inspections involving other units within the Safety and Inspections Department (DSI), other City departments, and community service agencies where applicable.
