Intensive Comprehensive Peace Officer Training and Education (ICPOET) – FT
Pay range is $24.00 per hour

The Fridley Police Department has a brand new position open – for an ICPOET. This position is paid for by a grant. The successful candidate will complete the (ICPOET) Grant Cohort program and skills to obtain required Professional Peace Officer through Education (PPOE) through Hennepin Technical College or Alexandria Technical College. After completion, the cadet will take the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) licensing exam. Upon passing the POST exam, the cadet will be eligible to be hired as a full-time police officer with the City of Fridley. The ICPOET Grant Cohort program will run from approximately February 2025 to August 2025.
