The City of North Branch is a growing community that consists of over 36 square miles and a population of over 11,000. The police department has several areas of career development opportunities including investigations, school resource officer, Crisis Negotiations Team, Mobile Field Force, SWAT, bicycle patrol, and many different departmental training instructor opportunities. The City of North Branch also has a take-home squad policy for officers who reside within 20 minutes of the city. Applicants must fulfill the minimum selection standards of the MN POST Board and must possess or be eligible to possess a full-time MN Peace Officer License by the time of hire. The current 2025 starting salary range for this union position is $43.26 which moves to $47.17 after successful completion of probation. We have a two-year top out for wages and an excellent insurance and benefits package!
