The Big Lake Police Department is accepting applications for the position of a Full-time Police Officer. We are seeking experienced and entry-level law enforcement candidates to join our department. Lateral Candidates:
3 years of law enforcement experience eligible up to $47.46/hr. at the time of hire.
Field Training may be adjusted for experienced candidates.
Employer paid benefits for new entry and lateral candidates.
Minimum requirements:
MN POST Board license or eligible to be licensed by April 1, 2025; possess a two-year degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or related field, and have a valid MN Class D driver's license.
Pay Rate: $37.47 - $47.46/hr. (2025 LELS Contract)
