The City of Marshall in southwest MN is accepting applications for a part-time (25 hours per week) Program Specialist at the Adult Community Center. This position is responsible to develop, organize, and implement a variety of programming activities, including social-recreational activities, arts and crafts, educational programs, and trips/excursions.
The ideal candidate will be able to positively engage with the 55 population, as well as possess a combination of empathy/understanding, communication skills, and knowledge of the unique needs and preferences of older adults. We're seeking someone who is an active listener, who demonstrates excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, and has the ability to multi-task and be flexible, while providing staff support and interacting with our members and the public.
