Job Summary: The City of Wyoming is seeking candidates for the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker. Responsibilities include performing maintenance related tasks in Public Works areas and surface water, operating a variety of equipment, participating in snow plowing/sanding, and performing routine maintenance on City-owned buildings/facilities. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school, diploma, or GED equivalent, Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake and tanker endorsement, and at least a Class D water license and SD sewer license (or ability to obtain after first year of employment)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Operate and maintain variety of heavy equipment, ability to maintain preventative maintenance programs, and more (full list provided on City’s website).
