Applicant must possess mechanical skills, be able to work independently, and be capable of supervising the work of personnel in the areas of water/sewer, cemetery, airport, community center, parks, street operations, and maintenance. Supervisor responsibilities would include but not limited to, overseeing daily operations of the public works department, assist with department budgeting, determines priorities, assigns staff to work and ensures completion. This position is a 40-hour work week with rotating weekends and holidays for on call rounds.
