Metropolitan Mosquito Control District is now hiring for Safety CoordinatorThe Safety Coordinator is a crucial role in maintaining high-level safety standards for the District’s mosquito control operations. Ensuring that staff, facility, fleet, pesticide application and field work processes in wetland/water environments are contributing a safe working environment.As the Safety Coordinator, you will: Develop, implement, and oversee MMCD’s safety program.Develop, coordinate and facilitate safety, health and emergency management procedures training.Conduct regular safety inspections of all facilities, fleet operations and field sites.Serve as the lead member of the Safety Team, providing guidance, support and leadership on all matters relating to safety.Track and maintain accurate safety records including but not limited to accident reports, safety inspections, training logs and compliance documentation.Provide oversight and management of the District’s personal protective equipment program.Perform other related duties as assigned, ensuring the continuous improvement and effectiveness of the Safety program.We’re a District committed to teamwork, community, learning, and development.Apply: https://mmcd.org/employment/
