WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Explore & Inspect: Conduct visual inspections of stormwater outfalls, ponds, and infrastructure using GPS and Cartegraph Asset Management Software.
Paddle & Map: Use a kayak and sonar equipment to create bathymetric maps of stormwater ponds.
Protect & Educate: Assist in developing programs and outreach materials to maintain compliance with the MS4 permit.
Inspect & Communicate: Visit active construction sites to ensure erosion control measures are in place, working with contractors and property owners.
Monitor & Record: Collect environmental data, update GIS tree inventories, and assist with habitat restoration.
Sample & Analyze: Collect and process water samples for a water quality monitoring program.
Support & Assist: Help the Engineering Department with customer service, document updates, and GIS mapping.
Salary : $20 - $24
