What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water/Wastewater Operator position at Minnesota City Jobs?
The City of Redwood Falls is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator. Prefer experience in Water and/or Wastewater collection and treatment operations. Candidates must have certification or work progressively towards certification within 1 year as a Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator at a Class “D” level by the MPCA. Candidates also need certification or work progressively towards certification within 1 year as a Water Supply System Operator at a Class “D” level by the MN Department of Health. Preferred candidates will currently hold a minimum Class “B” MN Driver’s License or a CDL. Candidates that do not hold a Class “B” MN Driver’s License must be able to obtain it within six months of hire.
Minimum qualifications High School Diploma and Prefer Associates Degree in Construction Trades, Auto Mechanics, Plumbing or related field. Applicants must submit an online application, resume and cover letter.
