What You’ll Do: As Maintenance Director, you will be the backbone of our campus operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining, repairing, and replacing MWA’s physical plant facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
- Servicing campus vehicles, ensuring their reliability and safety for school transportation needs.
- Driving with purpose as a licensed bus driver, helping with transportation needs as required.
- Teaching and inspiring students through our Industrial Arts class, sharing practical skills, and fostering a love for craftsmanship.
Mentoring and guiding students, serving as a positive role model in both work ethic and character.

What We’re Looking For: To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
- Hands-on skills and the ability to handle tools, equipment, and physical tasks with confidence.
- Extensive knowledge of facilities maintenance principles, systems, and equipment.
- A strong desire to mentor young people and make a positive impact in their lives.
- A willingness to serve and contribute to the mission of Maplewood Academy.
A commercial driver's license with a school bus endorsement or a willingness to acquire one.
