The Minnesota Conference is seeking a Christ-centered and visionary Youth Director to disciple, lead, and grow youth and young adult ministries across the state. This role oversees camp ministries, Pathfinders, Adventurers, and youth / young adult ministries. The director will collaborate with pastors, teachers, and local churches to disciple and engage the next generation, developing innovative approaches to retain and inspire youth within the church.

Please note : The Youth Director spends approximately 10 weeks each summer on-site at North Star Camp to operate our summer camp programs and travels several times per year for recruiting, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have an expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and be a Seventh-day Adventist church member in regular standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field required; Master of Divinity or similar degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of youth ministry experience strongly preferred. Experience working in summer camps preferred.
- Must have strong people skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a collaborative mindset.
- CPR and First Aid certification required within six months of hire or prior to the camp season starting.
- Must be able to clearly communicate complex ideas in both public and private settings.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to work cooperatively with Conference administration and personnel.
- Must be able to write and speak English fluently.
Job Summary
The youth director is responsible for coordinating and implementing Conference youth initiatives, including master guide, youth & young adults, pathfinders, adventurers and camp ministries. The youth director also serves local churches by training and providing resources.
