THE ROLE : NeighborWorks Home Partners is seeking a visionary leader with strong financial acumen to be the organization’s next Chief Financial Officer.The Chief Financial Officer , reporting to the Executive Director, is a key member of the organization’s leadership team. This position administers the organization’s financial management and accounting functions as well as provides oversight to the human resource and operations management aspects of the organization. In addition, this position is responsible for oversight of the loan servicing functions of the organization. Supervising a team of two staff (Accounting Manager and Operations Coordinator), this role leads work across the organization to build and support the infrastructure in these core areas. This role will be critical in leading the continued advancement of the organization as we grow our impact and strive to further our mission to support families to buy, fix and keep their homes.THE CANDIDATE : To excel in this role, you are a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of finance and accounting. You thrive on leading cross functional work to improve operations and processes. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and have strong time management skills that keep you organized and able to meet deadlines. Additionally, you possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to quickly adapt and evolve when needed.Required10 years of professional experience in financial management positions of increasing responsibility. Preference for experience in non-profit or housing / real estate accounting.5 years’ experience in management or leadership positions.Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.Experience planning and managing organizational change in a growing organization.Proactive work style with a focus on deadlines, attention to detail, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.DesiredCPA or advanced financial management degree.Experience with Financial Edge NXT, Salesforce, and ADP.Human resource management experience.A passion for the mission of the organization.Physical and Schedule RequirementsPrimarily a seated, computer-based position.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Ability to work remotely and at NWHP office locations as required.COMPENSATION : Salary range anticipated $100,100 - $115,100 with quarterly bonus potential.
