MN Dehydrated Vegetables, Inc is seeking a Human Resources Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers compensation programs and maintains position descriptions and classifications.
- Serves as liaison between employee, supervisor, and management during grievance process.
- Administers company benefits plans and responds to employee relation issues.
- Develops and implements all MDV Safety and OSHA programs.
- Manages workers' compensation administration and writes Affirmative action plan / EEO-1 reports.
- Remains current on labor law and updates MDV Employee Handbook as needed.
- Maintains good rapport with applicants, employees, management, and outside agencies.
Requirements and Skills:
- Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
- Complete understanding of various HR programs and employment law.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
- Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex issues.
- Above average computer knowledge and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or
- Three years related experience in the HR field, or
- Any similar combination of education and experience.
