MMCAP Infuse (https://infuse-mn.gov) is a governmental cooperative purchasing organization for government facilities in all 50 states. MMCAP Infuse is operated by the State of Minnesota's Department of Administration - Office of State Procurement (OSP).
MMCAP Infuse's primary function is to provide a full range of pharmaceuticals to its participating facilities. It also has contracts for vials and containers, medical supplies, drug testing, returned goods processing, influenza vaccine, dental products and services, and dozens of new lines of business.
In this position, you will provide analytical support and expertise to Knowledge and Financial Management (KFM) within MMCAP Infuse with respect to Global Location Numbers (GLN) and United Nations Standard Products and Services Codes (UNSPSC) for MMCAP Infuse. This includes assisting with reporting obligations requiring you to review and analyze data, convert information into a format usable for data integration, and report data inconsistencies. You will also be responsible for completing documentation assignments with the outcome of establishing procedural documentation for team member cross-training.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework arrangement, onsite attendance will be required for team meetings or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required. Please review the Telework Policy for details.

Minimum Qualifications

- Two (2) years of experience supporting business information systems, which includes, but is not limited to, research, data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- A Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, health science, business administration, or related field may be substituted for one (1) year of experience as described.
- An Associate's degree as specified may be substituted for six (6) months of experience as described.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, database, or spreadsheet skills.
- Working knowledge of statistical methods and research methodologies.
- Analytical skills sufficient to interpret and apply rules and definitions of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex information to a variety of audiences with varying degrees of technical understand.
- Exceptional organizational skills, demonstrated attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Exceptional human relations skills to provide customer support to an array of stakeholders and partners.
- Familiarity with procurement issues, business terminology, and common transaction requirements of pharmaceutical acquisition.
- Ability to quickly learn various MMCAP Infuse programs, such as pharmaceutical, condom, dental, drug testing, flu, medical supplies, etc., in order to understand the terminology of products, NDC and number coding system, and sizes and measurements of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical product lines.
- Experience with membership coordination.
- Experience with the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) industry.
- Knowledge of laws surrounding GPOs and price negotiations.
- Experience with the state's procurement processes and systems.
- Strong computing skills in a PC environment, such as Microsoft Office or other similar platforms.
