As the Literacy Data Student Worker, you will help ensure clean, accurate and complete data is available for literacy data. Duties will include:

  • Complete data quality checks and report on common issues.
  • Create a process to efficiently cleanse the literacy screening data for use in reporting.
  • Provide recommendations of how to improve data quality of information initially received from vendors.

This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota or a bordering county along the Minnesota state line. Effective June 1, employees living within 75 miles of the office will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. For those who live 75 or more miles away, the requirements are currently being assessed for each agency.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrollment in a post-secondary or graduate program in data science, computer science, mathematics, business administration, education or a related field

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating documents for others to use
  • Familiarity with literacy screeners
  • Experience with data entry and/or data cleanings
