Job Description:
This position provides engineering support to ongoing research and construction activities such as Density Profiling Systems (DPS) and new pavement quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field data collection, sampling, testing, and assisting with quality assurance activities
- Analysis of data using statistical analysis tools
- Learning the use of basic tools, machinery, and testing equipment
Requirements:
- Current student in a secondary, post-secondary, or graduate school
- Experience with Microsoft computer programs, especially Excel and Word
- Able to learn and apply statistical analysis tools to data sets
Education:
- Student in a college/university, trade, or technical school
- Credit-granting institution: at least six semester credits or nine quarter credits
- Non-credit granting institution or one that only offers one credit per class: two or more classes per semester/quarter
- Graduate students: enrolled in at least two courses or making progress on a dissertation
