Job Title:
Contract Administration Assistant
Under immediate supervision, to assist in providing supervision and technical support to contract administration personnel on bridge and highway construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing and approving contractor's work to ensure timely processing of supplemental agreements, change orders, work orders, and project payments, avoiding project delays.
- Negotiate necessary contract changes to facilitate timely processing of supplemental agreements, change orders, work orders, and project payments, ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Exercise supervisory authority to equitably administer applicable labor agreements and plans, ensuring employees effectively perform assigned job duties in accordance with specifications, plans, and special provisions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering from an accredited institution, with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (C average)
- Proficiency in Windows-based operating systems, spreadsheet software applications, word-processing software, and project scheduling tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of highway construction principles, engineering practices, and contract administration procedures
