As the Database Services Supervisor, you will supervise, assign work and provide leadership to the Database Services Unit, providing professional database administration services to MnDOT. This position provides Database services to all MNIT Partnering with DOT internal teams, ensuring oversight of the database management and ensuring databases are managed as a strategic resource meeting the Department of Transportation’s needs.
This position requires an employee to be onsite in St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.

Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience in an application and data-based environment.
Experience must include:
- Two (2) years of lead work or supervisory experience with responsibilities for team performance management, conflict resolution, and staff development.
- Strong ability to work with all levels of the organization, including business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience in leading analysis, architecture/design, planning, implementing, and supporting applications/systems.
- Experience supporting technology and network environments, including Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL, Linux, Crystal Enterprise Server, and Azure services (Database Managed Instances and databases on Virtual Servers).
- Experience providing IT leadership in an application hosting environment.
- Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
