You will provide development, implementation, and support services for a range of software solutions and the scope of responsibilities for this role includes the following key areas:
- Delivering Low-Code/No-Code Solutions: This involves conducting thorough analysis and design, followed by the development, implementation, and ongoing support of low-code/no-code solutions. The aim is to create efficient and effective applications that meet the specific needs of the DOC with minimal manual coding effort.
- Implementing New Solutions: The position requires the implementation of new commercial software and hardware solutions tailored to the DOC’s requirements. This encompasses assessing the needs, selecting appropriate commercial products, and integrating these solutions within the DOC's existing infrastructure. This work may involve deploying and supporting both software and hardware across various DOC locations, including Correctional Facilities.
- Developing and Supporting Custom Applications: The role also entails the development of custom software applications that are designed to address unique challenges and requirements within the DOC. Additionally, ongoing support and maintenance of these applications ensure their optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Telework for Minnesota IT Services allows an employee to perform work from a telework location and an employee may be required to be in the office based on business needs and other dependencies in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in Software Development.
Experience must include:
- Application design, development, support, and maintenance, including working with various operating systems and hardware configurations.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), developing and delivering solutions using Scrum or Agile methodologies.
- Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate, for process automation and data visualization.
- Design, configuration, and implementation of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Application development using current technologies, including .NET/C#, Moq, React, Next.js, Jest, SQL, and Bicep.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced understanding and experience in implementations of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.

- Basic knowledge of application development using current technologies: .NET/C#, Moq, React, Next.js, Jest, SQL, and Bicep.
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 (M365) SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
