What are the responsibilities and job description for the ECC Teacher - Part Time position at Minnesota Jewish Community Center?
Join our growing team and make an impact at Minnesota Jewish Community Center located in St. Louis Park, convenient to public transit. Our team provides quality care and education for the children that we serve. We currently have Early Childhood Teacher openings for full time (40 hours/week, benefit eligible) as well as part time (schedule 12:00-5:30pm or 2:00-5:30pm and some flexible schedules). Our center serves children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years old. We pride ourselves on lower than average classroom ratios and competitive wage. Also included with this position is a free gym membership (including updated gym facilities, indoor/outdoor pool), theater, and library amenities.
- Provide a high quality care to our children and families in a manner which reflects the mission and values of our organization.
- Challenge each child to reach their potential and guide their activities academically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually
- Create a learning environment where children are engaged and challenged
- Develop and implement age appropriate curriculum
- Complete evaluations and conduct parent-teacher conferences
- Foster relationships with families through daily communication
