The Facility Maintenance specialist is responsible for ensuring all city facility assets are functional. The Specialist will perform construction and repair duties and manage all contracts related to building maintenance. Additionally, this person will support facility use for all departments and collaborate on future facility developments.Â
The ideal candidate is able to work independently while being a productive team member, have a variety of practical facility skills and can use technology for service delivery. The successful candidate does not need to be an expert in any one field, has practical experience in a variety of building maintenance needs and is familiar with budgeting and capital improvement needs.
